1. Terms of Use for the website www.veigas.eu

By accessing the website www.veigas.eu, including all its subdomains/sub-websites (hereinafter referred to as "Website"), the user must be aware of the following provisions applicable to each of the documents, information, data, and requirements found therein, which are owned and maintained by Veigas & Veigas - Mediação Imobiliária, Lda., with its registered office at Rua das Atividades Económicas Nº 8, 2625-387 Forte da Casa, registered with the Lisbon Commercial Registry Office under the unique registration and corporate person number 503972444, with a share capital of EUR 245,000.00 (two hundred and forty-five thousand euros), authorized and registered with the Bank of Portugal under number 4358 in the category of Tied Credit Intermediary (hereinafter "Veigas Credit Intermediary").

Veigas Credit Intermediary is authorized to carry out credit intermediation services; presentation or proposal of credit contracts to consumers; assistance to consumers by performing preparatory acts or other pre-contractual management tasks related to credit contracts not presented or proposed by them; and providing consulting services.

Through the Website, Veigas Credit Intermediary provides the user with (i) information on the conditions for granting housing credit by the lending entities identified on the Website, (ii) a housing credit simulator, through which the financial conditions of the lending entities represented by Veigas are compared and the most favorable financial solution is presented to the user, (iii) intermediation in contacting the lending entities represented by Veigas by providing them with the user's personal data to facilitate subsequent contact with the user.

The term “user” refers to any individual or entity that, generally through the Website, visits the content available there or, by registering, makes use of its functionalities.

The Website allows the user to access a range of online information, which may include information related to specific products and services provided by Veigas. The Website contains texts, information, photographs, audiovisual and graphic material, logos, registered trademarks, images, copyrighted works, and other types of information, whether from Veigas or third parties (the "content"), and may provide access to specific private software used in connection with navigating and utilizing functions provided on the Website.

Access to and use of the Website’s functionalities are subject to these General Terms of Use, as well as to any applicable national or European laws and regulations.

Veigas Credit Intermediary recommends that users carefully read these Terms of Use. If the user does not accept and agree to comply with each of these terms and conditions, they will not be authorized to access or otherwise use the Website, its content, services, or the software contained therein.

Access to and use of the Website by users implies their acceptance and commitment to respect each and every term and condition set forth. If you are using the Website on behalf of someone else or an entity or institution, you confirm that the person or entity you represent also agrees to these terms and conditions and commits to adhering to them.

These Terms of Use may be changed, modified, expanded, or updated by Veigas Credit Intermediary at any time without prior notice, including to comply with applicable legislation. Any new products and services, content, and software that appear and/or are made available on the Website will also be subject to these Terms of Use, effective from the date of their use.

Adults Only

Access to and registration on the Website are exclusively directed at individuals aged 18 (eighteen) years or older.

The Website is not intended to be used by individuals under the age of 18 (eighteen), and no information resulting from interactions with minors is intentionally collected. Veigas Credit Intermediary is not responsible for interactions or access to the Website's content by minors.

Access to the Website

Access to some of the Website’s content may be conditioned upon the user’s prior registration, as well as authentication through a username and password. Veigas Credit Intermediary will make its best efforts to keep the Website accessible.

However, Veigas Credit Intermediary reserves the right to temporarily suspend access to the Website or to certain areas or functionalities thereof, including for maintenance reasons, without prior notice. Veigas Credit Intermediary assumes no responsibility for any damages resulting from possible situations of inability, delay, suspension, or interruption of access to the Website due to technical failures or other reasons. Veigas Credit Intermediary does not guarantee that access to the Website will not be interrupted or disturbed due to technical issues.

Veigas Credit Intermediary reserves the right to complete, modify, or remove the content of the Website.

Proper Use of the Website

The user agrees to access and use the Website in accordance with applicable laws and to use the Website and its content and services appropriately and legally, for lawful purposes only, refraining from using it for activities contrary to the law, morals, or good customs, or the rights and legitimate interests of third parties, or in a manner that contravenes these General Terms of Use, and only for personal and non-commercial use. The user also agrees not to use, transfer, distribute, or dispose of the Website's content in a way that could unfairly compete with Veigas Credit Intermediary.

The user agrees not to extract information and/or content accessible through the Website, acknowledging that all content on the Website and its subdomains is owned by Veigas Credit Intermediary and/or third parties and, therefore, any use, reproduction, copying, or disclosure, by any means, including but not limited to information, logos, texts, images, graphics, and/or videos contained on the Website, is subject to the prior and express authorization of Veigas.

By accessing and using the Website, the User should refrain from:

• Making unauthorized or fraudulent use of the Website and/or its content for illegal purposes or effects, harming the rights and interests of Veigas and/or third parties, or in any way causing damage, impairing, overloading, deteriorating, or preventing the normal use of services or documents, files, and all types of content stored on any computer system.
• Accessing or attempting to access restricted resources or areas of the Website without meeting the conditions required for such access.
• Uploading, downloading, emailing, or otherwise transmitting any data or content from the Website, including but not limited to texts, data, photographs, images, graphics, as well as uploading, downloading, emailing, or otherwise transmitting any data or content that is illegal, threatening, abusive, disruptive, intimidating, defamatory, obscene, racist, pornographic, violent, or inciting violence or offensive, invasive, or harmful to legitimate interests and rights of Veigas and third parties, including but not limited to the right to privacy and intellectual and industrial property rights.
• Uploading, downloading, emailing, or otherwise transmitting any data or content from the Website that could affect, harm, or infringe upon the intellectual and industrial property rights of Veigas and/or third parties, including but not limited to patents and utility models, registered trademarks and logos, designs and industrial models, trade secrets, names, copyrights, and related rights. Veigas will assume that, by uploading or downloading any content, the user has legal and/or contractual authority to reproduce and distribute that content and that it complies with all applicable current legislation.
• Uploading, downloading, emailing, or otherwise transmitting any data or content from the Website that may constitute, promote, or encourage the commission of an illegal or unlawful act or constitute a criminal offense, violation of Veigas’ and/or third parties' rights, or that in any way constitutes civil liability, including contractual liability, or violates current applicable law.
• Uploading, downloading, emailing, or otherwise transmitting any data or content from the Website that, in any way, conveys false or misleading information, advertisements, promotional material, spam, junk mail, chain letters, or any other form of unsolicited or unauthorized solicitation.

Introducing or spreading programs, viruses, macros, applets, ActiveX controls, or any other device that causes or is likely to cause alterations to the Website’s or third parties' computer systems.

Causing damage to the physical and logical systems of Veigas Credit Intermediary, its clients, partners, or third parties, introducing or spreading physical or logical systems on the Website that are likely to cause the aforementioned damage.

Plagiarizing, reproducing, or copying, distributing, allowing public access by any means of public communication, transforming, or modifying the Content, except in cases where authorized by the rights holder or legally permitted.

Removing, hiding, or manipulating notes about intellectual or industrial property rights and other identifying data of Veigas Credit Intermediary or third parties incorporated into the content, as well as technical protection devices or any information mechanisms that may be embedded in the content.

Obtaining and attempting to obtain Content, services, or products offered on the Website using means or procedures other than those that, depending on the case, have been made available to you or explicitly indicated on the Website or, in general, those typically used on the Internet that do not pose a risk of damage or impairment to the Website and/or its content.

The user guarantees that their activities in using or accessing the Website will not, under any circumstances, be offensive to the good name and commercial image of Veigas Credit Intermediary, any Veigas group company, or its partners and clients, other Website users, or third parties.

The User acknowledges and agrees that Veigas Credit Intermediary may legitimately review the data and content submitted or uploaded by the user on the Website or during the user registration process to confirm their compliance with these General Terms of Use. Without limiting the foregoing, Veigas Credit Intermediary and its legal representatives have the right to delete any data or content that violates the user’s duties and obligations under these General Terms of Use or that affects or harms,
